How is this not a violation of the establishment clause? The government is funding sharia and sharia finance. Sharia financial institutions cannot fund pork, alcohol, gambling or adult entertainment businesses (these are whole American business sectors). A portion of sharia finance funds must go to zakat – Islamic charities which we know fund Islamic terror. Minneapolis may be helping to finance international terrorism.
No American city should be in the sharia finance business. Taxpayers funding our own demise. Someone with standing - a Minneapolis taxpayer ought to sue.
We need hearings on taxpayer dollars being used to fund Islamic finance (thereby funding jihad and prohibition on whole American business sectors). We need hearings on the violation of the separation of mosque and state in the public schools, in the workplace, in the courtroom, and in foreign policy. We need hearings on the violation of the Constitution in regards to Muslims—no longer are equal rights sufficient, now it’s special rights for a very extra special class, Muslims.
I think we are an Islamic state now. They are going easy on us and not mandating 100% compliance across the board, many things are just a whole lot easier if you worship Mohammad.

There is no way an individual could fund a suit on this issue. Unless there is
a decent conservative group willing to take it on, the courts are not the battlefield.
Here in Mass. I know many people who are stridently opposed to Christianity. It’s an extremist religion, you see. It’s moralistic and controlling, and represses basic human rights. Christianity hates women, for one thing, and treats them like second class citizens. In addition, Christianity has a long history of violence (hey: remember the Crusades from like 1000 years ago!)
My neighbors would tell you: Christianity has no place in a modern, progressive America.
Islam, on the other hand, never bothered anyone. As a measure of American goodness and diversity, we should welcome Islam with open arms.

Unfortunately, I work there. It’s embarrassing to see how hard this blue-collar Midwest milling town is trying to be New York or San Francisco. So any trendy, leftist fad that shows up on either coast will find its way here sooner than later.
