This week Americans will be celebrating our nation’s Independence Day. This 4th of July has a special meaning for Americans and virtually no meaning for a majority of liberal Democrats. July 4th is a tough time for liberals because they must once again be reminded of the fact that they are enjoying the blessings of a country they hate.

A Fox poll has found that 60% of self-identified strong liberals (read Democrats) said they do not “often feel proud to be American.” Since the political party of these ungrateful swine is the Democrat Party it is not difficult to accept that a large portion of elected Democrats have dealt their allegiance to our Islamic enemies.

When they realize that the Muslims and Leftists are interested in killing them rather than assisting them, our liberal youth might have second thoughts about cheering on 9/11 and supporting Muslims. Liberals do not understand a national crisis beyond how it personally affects THEM, but if they end up in a combat scenario where their supporting soldier gets gunned down, they might think twice about being so selfish and cosmopolitan.

Adamantly disagree. We military types have seen what the draft had done to the morale within the ranks and how long it took to recover. While the broad brush of the draft would get patriots, it inducts the cancer of liberals who would run at the first sign of danger and leave their fellow servicemen in a flamboyant act of cowardice.

Unfortunately what would be created is something called ‘National Service’ in which everyone would be press ganged into two or three years of ‘community service’. Military service would only be one option and one no leftist would pick. If a regular draft were reinstated the left would busy itself in trying to undermine discipline and organizational cohesiveness in any way possible. The antics of committed leftists drafted into the Israeli forces are a good and appalling lesson in what would happen. Every discontent is immediately relayed by text or picture on a smart phone to some leftist yenta mama who quickly gets it to some slimy Knesset Member or to some whiny leftist presstitute who sees it gets on the Israeli equivalent of ‘News at Four’. Left liberals would have no compunction about scheming to to impede the operation of the armed forces. They would think it was smart, good politics and fun. The GOP would sit around with their heads down and their thumbs inserted in their collective anus while the trouble makers worked diligently to destroy the armed forces and destroy the careers of dedicated officers such as LTC West.

You both raise good points about letting liberals in the military; I wouldn’t want an honest soldier to have to rely on a liberal in battle. That being said, I don’t see any other way to deal with the liberal problem in this nation, and the liberal problem is definitely a national defense issue. Liberals need discipline and need to learn how to legitimately contribute to the economy, both which would consequently turn them into conservatives. If anyone has a better suggestion which would guarantee that liberals would have no influence in our nation, I’m all ears.
