Judges gathering to discuss their legislative agendas.
The only path towards “sustainable development” is to develop the third world countries where environmental problems are the norm. Once they have become rich through development, then they will have the desire and means to institute environmental protections.
I’m afraid that people living in filthy slums are more concerned about having enough food than they are about the environment. And “sustainable development” seems to be a leftist buzzword meant to keep those people in the slums rather than actually referring to any kind of environmental protection.
You are supposed to be judging cases that come to your courts based upon the laws of your own lands.
You are not supposed to be black-robed tyrants legislating from the bench.
BS its just another social gathering for politicians to drink champaign and eat caviar...
This is more insidious than people realize. Here in Los Angeles they have built bus lines that are intended to create long lines of cars daring to cross these bus lines. The idea is that driving will become so intolerable that people will want to move into their high density housing along the bus routs.
A few months ago the Supreme Court ruled that zoning laws were illegal as they were discriminating towards the poor. This allows developers to build high-density housing in any neighborhood. It is another way of integrating the poor and the middle class. One third of the high-density housing will be subsidized by the tax payer in exchange for the developer being able to build taller apartment buildings than the existing zoning code allows for.
In other words, two thirds of the people will be subsidizing one third of the people.
The one third will get subsidized housing with Wi-Fi, utilities, bus passes, and subsidized food. You know, Democrats.
When reading these articles, look for someone’s name and Google it. It almost always leads to a professor at some university that is teaching sustainable cities.
You will be forced to live along a transportation corridor, work off of a transportation corridor, there will be mom and pop stores on the lower level of these high-density apartment buildings because parking will be limited. Big box stores will become a thing of the past because the transportation corridor is intended to be a barrier to traffic. Your car will be an electric golf cart.
Who are they to judge?!
