Feinstein has also said in the last few months that the Al Queda threat is growing. I'm sure the WH doesn't like that.

My guess is that she sees a lot of what the 60's anti America crowd is doing behind the scenes in the WH and she's positioning herself for the storms to come in the Dem party.
