He went to Iraq feeling that, since his intentions were good, this would be recognized and the enemy would do him no harm. He was beheaded on video.
Everyone’s been looking for the Obama central foreign policy doctrine, and with this episode we see it clearly. Obama feels that appeasement and good intentions will shield us from harm when, all that happens is the enemy dis-respects us more, thereby inviting further mayhem and attacks on our interests.
Obama has the same mindset as Nicholas Berg, only now it’s our head on the chopping block.
Obama is an adherent of the Nicholas Berg school of foreign policy.
That's the guy whose father who blamed America for his son's death, rather than the mutants who actually decapitated his son.
