As to this idea that “only Jesus Christ (or God) can stop Obama,” I think that’s a dangerous concept, sure it would be good to pray for just that and hope for it, but not to plan for it because we have no assurance that the end times (which is what people mean when they say this) are that close. They may be. I feel they are. But in the meantime, human laws should continue to be enforced. If the man is unfit to be president, he should be impeached. If God sees fit to enforce it or move up the timetable, great. If not, it would be a mistake not to act. That is more or less the same mistake made by those in past generations who left everything behind and assembled on hilltops for a rapture that never came.
Pray for it and work for it with equal vigor and determination.
You misunderstood what I meant by that. I was not referring to Jesus' second coming stopping Obama. I was saying that I fully believe that only God/Jesus can stop him--only the Lord can CAUSE him to be stopped, IF the Lord would will it. The reason I say this is because we already see that no one in ANY position of power is willing to hold him accountable, to follow the laws concerning Obama. Therefore, we are left with Obama, and no one can stop him--except God.
