The Audacity of Hussein: Obama Rubs His Jihad in Our Faces
ClashDaily.com ^ | 6/4/14 | Donald Joy

It’s heinous enough that the criminal Obama has yet again flagrantly violated our nation’s laws, by illegally releasing the who’s who of the top-echelon Taliban cadre in the alleged “exchange” for the traitor and enemy collaborator Bowe Bergdahl.

Yet on top of that, Obama showcases and grandstands his overt Islamic Jihad in the Rose Garden before the cameras and microphones, grinning and embracing Bergdahl’s bearded Taliban-agent father, Robert, as the older Bergdahl recites, in Arabic, the Islamic war victory chant, and exults in the wholesale defeat of the United States–achieved, partly, by strategically sending his stealth rat son into and among the ranks of our armed forces, for the very purpose of defecting and eventually leveraging the release of Taliban commanders.

Contrary to the administration’s, and Bergdahl’s, false statements, Bergdahl was not “captured while lagging behind on patrol.” Nor did he “serve with honor and distinction,” as claimed by notorious Obama administration liar Susan Rice.

There is no question that the younger Bergdahl committed the crime (punishable by death) of desertion. Blatantly anti-American emails between Bergdahl and his father, discussing his desire to do so mere days and hours prior to his disappearance, prove it. The troops with whom he was deployed have gone public with the slam-dunk case that he deserted, and the Pentagon even acknowledged it as far back as 2010. Furthermore, irate members of the intelligence community are coming forward and describing that our government’s secret file on Bergdahl (officially sealed until 2019) confirms that Bergdahl joined the Taliban as a sympathizer and collaborator.

So why has the the Army been awarding Private Bergdahl scheduled promotions to Sergeant and Staff Sergeant in absentia, when it is plain and clear that he went AWOL of his own choice, and apparent that he helped the enemy to kill his former fellow troops? Too many of us know the disturbing answer: Obama has purged our military of patriotic leaders, and has achieved an anti-American coup throughout the Department of Defense and all levels of government administration.

Bergdahl’s former unit members have described how, prior to Bergdahl abandoning his post, he went to lengths to obtain information and understanding of the terrain layouts and hidden “avenue of approach” vulnerabilities surrounding his unit’s base of operations, making topographical studies and range maps beyond that normally required and sought by someone merely adhering to his duties as a sentry and soldier. Bergdahl gave every indication to his platoonmates that he was planning to go outside the wire, to “go native,” and seek a life among the region’s inhabitants. He was reported to have specifically sought out the local Taliban, to replace his U.S. Army company as his new comrades-in-arms, adhering to them.

Later, after Bergdahl went AWOL, the base was successfully attacked by Taliban forces exploiting those very same hidden vulnerabilities, and our troops were exposed to far more enemy action and suffered numerous more casualties as a direct result of Bergdahl’s defection–especially the massive searching for him that was ordered by the higher-ups, and the general heightening of activity in that area of operations.

Instead of being a triumphant Trojan trophy in Obama’s engineering of the defeat of America, the traitor bastard Bergdahl should have been left to die among his new friends under whatever conditions, and the top Taliban detainees at GITMO should have been executed by firing squad long ago for their role in harboring Osama Bin Laden and the planners/hijackers of September 11th, 2001.

Mere impeachment and removal from office is not nearly enough. Barack Hussein Obama (along with Taliban operative Robert Bergdahl, with his campaign of jihad Tweets) should also be tried, convicted, and given the penalty for high treason against the United States. Quote me on that.

I say Bergdahl enlisted in order to deploy there and do what he did, to leverage the release of the Taliban commanders. It may be outrageous, but it fits. If the John Walker Lindh and Adam Gadhan cases happened (and those episodes did happen), then Bergdahl joining the army in order to pull off what he did is distinctly plausible.

Report: US Intel Officials Worry Bergdahl Became ‘Active Collaborator With the Enemy’
Guy Benson
TOWNHALL 6/3/2014

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2014/06/03/oh-my-us-intel-officials-worried-bergdahl-may-have-been-active-collaborator-with-the-enemy-n1846705/print

An astonishing scoop last night from Fox News’ James Rosen — whose access to sources has, ahem, attracted the Obama administration’s intense scrutiny in the not-so-distant past. Whoa:

A senior official confirms to Fox News that the conduct of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl — both in his final stretch of active duty in Afghanistan and then, too, during his time when he lived among the Taliban — has been thoroughly investigated by the U.S. intelligence community and is the subject of “a major classified file.” In conveying as much, the Defense Department source confirmed to Fox News that many within the intelligence community harbor serious outstanding concerns not only that Bergdahl may have been a deserter but that he may have been an active collaborator with the enemy. The Pentagon official added pointedly that no relevant congressional committee has sought access to the classified file, but that if such a request were made, key committee chairs would, under previous precedent, likely be granted access to it. Separately, the Pentagon confirmed Monday that it is looking into claims Americans died during the search for Bergdahl...Sources told Fox News that many officials in the Executive Branch are “quite baffled” by the White House’s decision to allow the president to stand alongside Bergdahl’s father this past weekend, given the father’s history of controversial statements, emails and online posts.

The Weekly Standard’s Stephen Hayes is also out with a searing piece in which soldiers from Bergdahl’s former platoon forcefully reject Susan Rice’s description of the former hostage as having served the US with “honor and distinction:”

“That’s not true,” says Specialist Cody Full, who served in the same platoon as Bergdahl, and whose tweets over the weekend as @CodyFNfootball offered an early firsthand account of Bergdahl’s departure. “He was not a hero. What he did was not honorable. He knowingly deserted and put thousands of people in danger because he did. We swore to an oath and we upheld ours. He did not.” “He walked off—and ‘walked off’ is a nice way to put it,” says Specialist Josh Cornelison, the medic in Bergdahl’s platoon. “He was accounted for late that afternoon. He very specifically planned to walk out in the middle of the night.” “He was a deserter,” says Specialist Full. “There’s no question in the minds of anyone in our platoon.”...One uncomfortable question that has vexed those involved in the Bergdahl case: Was Bergdahl merely a deserter or was he, possibly, a Taliban collaborator? ...Several military officials who spoke with THE WEEKLY STANDARD noted privately that Taliban attacks on U.S. forces in the Paktika province seemed to increase in frequency and effectiveness...[Some] wonder whether Bergdahl helped the Taliban, either willfully or under duress. In the hours after he disappeared, according to sources familiar with the intelligence, U.S. troops received an intelligence report that Bergdahl stopped in a local village and asked how to find the Taliban.

More evidence pointing to desertion continues to emerge, including this account from NBC News, which has been echoed elsewhere:

That's a bridge too far.

I think his plan was just to join the Taliban.

I think he fully expected to become a valued member of their rank and file, and be truly appreciated for being the unique and precious flower that he imagines himself to be.

The Taliban have been at this long enough to recognize a complete flake when they see one, and they decided to use him as bargaining chip.

Absent any confirmed communications between him and the enemy pre-enlistment, we need to apply Ockham's razor and not go too deep down the rabbit hole.

You’re more likely right, but my theory is still somewhat plausible nonetheless. It isn’t even really all that convoluted.

….many officials in the Executive Branch are “quite baffled” by the White House’s decision to allow the president to stand alongside Bergdahl’s father this past weekend…

Stand alongside the father? It looks like he was more intent on taking Bergdaul’s mother for a rather intimate stroll…. If anyone every did that to my wife, there’d be H.E. double hockey stick to pay…..

Yes I totally concur. The kid is just a wackadoo who wanted to join the Taliban so he deserted and sought them out. I guess he got more than he probably bargained for.

As the Duke once said: “Life is tough. Its tougher if you’re stupid.

I spent way too much time on the internet today, and can’t remember where I heard/read this wacky speculation - might have been in a podcast on TFMR, though.

Anyway, the gist of it was... the author was linking this “dude” to Lee Harvey Oswald’s time in Russia, and wondering if there was something similar going on - that this poor excuse for a man (Bergdahl) was a similar black op sucker.

My jaded elderly mind immediately went to Oklahoma City, and the guy (Tim McVeigh) we so quickly put to death, wondering about all the loose ends in that sad episode.

Seems a big stretch to me, but then the major political events of the past 50 years have been like Alice in Wonderland, with so many alternate theories, and plausible alternative explanations.

So, who is the man behind the curtain?

What kinds of disinfo are we being fed, for what purpose, and why, at this point in the implosion of our national values, do we even try to wrap our heads around it.

Perhaps our time is better spent trying to figure out how to survive in small like-minded communities, keep our values and ideals alive, and come out the other side.

The important point to all of this is that we are in the process of losing all trust in our basic institutions, our core values, and our government. Even the value of our currency is now in doubt.

I fear we are imploding from within, and remember what Pogo said...
