Nicolas Dutan Guaman, 37, is facing several charges, including second-degree murder, in the Aug. 20, 2011, death of 23-year-old Matthew Denice of Milford after Mr. Guaman's truck and Mr. Denice's motorcycle collided at Fayette and Congress streets in Milford.
Prosecutors allege that an intoxicated and unlicensed Mr. Guaman, a native of Ecuador living in the U.S. illegally, rolled through a stop sign and struck Mr. Denice's motorcycle, dragging him nearly a quarter mile to his death. Mr. Guaman's 6-year-old son was in the truck with him at the time of the accident.
In addition to second-degree murder, Mr. Guaman is charged with manslaughter by motor vehicle, vehicular homicide while driving negligently and under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in death, driving without a license, failure to stop for police and reckless endangerment of a child. http://www.telegram.com/article/20140519/NEWS/305199843/1116
Guaman had the man under his truck for 1/4 mile this is an accident?
He is in the U.S. illegally..( Ecuadorian )
Smart to waive a Jury Trail and take your chances with a Massachusetts hack-o-rama Judge.
I don’t care what he is convicted of. I’d rather he was deported back to Ecuador along with his family. The police chief in our town was very vocal about that aspect of Guaman’s punishment but his hands were tied by the Feds.
