I spoke out of turn. It is not my desire to see a civil war with blood in the streets. Nor do I support the kind of action that led to Lincoln’s death. Such actions sow the seeds of chaos, not a return to constitutional law and order.

Of course, I tend to upset everybody with regularity so I rank low on the VVI.

We live in such troubled times, that such musings are not uncommon.

I am frustrated and heartbroken over the direction my country has taken.

But, deep inside, we are a People of Faith.

And some of us have read the Book all the way to the ending, and we know who wins.
