It would make sense. Amoral beliefs coupled with a lust for control would be a foundation for thinking that others would naturally be subservient and if they are not then it would be a natural progression toward physically trying to bring them into control. IMO
I absolutely agree. While the left are fundamentally cowards, when they have the power, whether through government, or in Piketty’s case physically able to overpower his lover, they flex it.

Somebody has: Paul Johnson’s book, “Intellectuals.” He describes the character deformities of many of left’s leading lights over the past two hundred years or so.
