Meh. I don’t agree. I may be one of the few on the Right that doesn’t see the new emails as meaning a whole lot. There are other issues that Issa screwed up, but these emails (speaking as a former Prosecutor) just aren’t a smoking gun for me. Sadly, I see this as no more than a very loud tempest in a teapot.
The cover up is obvious....but these aren't the smoking gun. That is still out there somewhere. Time to start offering immunity deals.

The big deal is the fact that two congressional committees with oversight authority Supenaed that and all documents pertaining to Benghazi
The State Department and/or the Whitehouse did NOT turn them over to them. Instead It was released after a Federal judge ordered them to turn the documents over to Judicial Watch
Who filed a FOIA requst and had to file suit to get the Admin. to comply.
At the least someone in the Admin. Should go to jail for not complying with Congressional Supenas

However, if they are hiding something there is a big difference between a congressional hearing and a select committee in power and scope. Your metaphor needs to be extended.
