On Wednesday the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition hosted a discussion about immigration reform at the Chicago Club.
Republican leaders shared their support for reform, including former U.S. House Speaker Denny Hastert, former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, State Senator Christine Radogno, State Representative Jim Durkin, State Comptroller Judy Barr Topinka, State Rep. Tom Cross, State Senator Jim Oberweis, and ILGOP gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner.
Outside, a group opposing amnesty, protested the meeting.
One of the protesters was radio personality Joe Walsh, who criticized the event at "that fancy club across the street," saying those who would be speaking are the "elite who were trying to push down all of our throat amnesty for illegals.

Yep, that’s the Illinois GOP, may God help us. We call them “The Combine” here. Not a dimes worth of difference.
I don't think Walsh is near Kinzinger's district, he would probably be accused of carpeting if he did. What was originally most of his district is now Randy Hulgren's district, he originally planned to run there before opting to run again in his own district, which was heavily redraw/rigged to be RAT, and Tammy Duckworth narrowly won (she would have gotten crushed if it was a swing district instead of a heavily RAT one).
I would like to see Joe Walsh back in politics though. This event shows you just how pathetic the current crop of 2014 Illinois Republicans are.
Hmmm. In that photo, Oberweis & Durkin (2002 primary opponents for the U.S. Senate, ironic) look like siblings, Cross & Rauner look like siblings, Edgar & Hastert look like siblings, and Radogno looks like Hilderbeast Clinton.
