Don't forget that the floating wind turbines will also need flashing red LEDs so that aircraft and birds can avoid running into them.

On the other hand, the floating turbines aren't permanent. So take them down when there's no wind and you've got clear sky again.

The floaters look like they’d be fine for temporary applications where access to power is limited or non existent.
