If having “white privilege” means you have to be a white person from Europe, how then have east Asians shot ahead of whites in academics and earnings? Is there “yellow privilege”? These days it's good to know Spanish. I was able to convince two of my kids to do so.

I've been reading and seeing these "why are black students behind whites" forums and articles for decades. All the participants refuse to acknowledge the primary role IQ plays in the scenario. And it's the same reason east Asians outperform whites in academics....higher IQs on average. Put the white students in the black schools and the black students in the white schools, and the results will be virtually the same. Swap incomes, and the results will still be the same.

They, blacks, are not performing badly because they're poor and live in dangerous areas, they perform poorly because they have lower IQs on average and create the poor and dangerous neighborhoods where they live. Maybe 100 years from now libs will finally accept the truth. But I won't hold my breath. (snicker)

IQ plays a role, but so does parents who give a damn about their children learning, having discipline and the drive to finish tasks. Being ostracized for ‘acting white’ doesn’t help either. Teachers unions and racial politics won’t fix that.
