Could be that people are not inclined to view someone like Trayvon as a victim. Martin isn’t someone who fought for civil rights and not someone who is going to be remembered as a nice boy. Obviously his parents have been ashamed of him.
Why? He's the one who was viciously sucker-punched and getting his head beaten on a concrete sidewalk. He's the one who hollered for help, and did what was right by offing his murderous attacker when he had no way of ecape. He's the one who stood up against a whole legal system stacked against him, and won. rather than cop a plea and encourage more Trayvons.
His name is "George" and what he has done is worthy of respect.
