What's not being widely reported is that Eich was one of the founders of mozilla.org, the nonprofit he now runs. This is no outsider brought in to whip up profits, because it's a nonprofit. This is no outsider brought in at all.
Eich was one of the designers at the original Netscape in 1995, and worked on Javascript, one of the backbones of Internet technology today (if it weren't for Javascript, most interactive websites, including blogs, would not function). He's a technical person, and served as CTO of Mozilla since 2005, and also on the board of the Mozilla Foundation.

So what might have caused this flurry of calls for his head? A single $1000 contribution to support Proposition 8. In 2008.

The laws apply equally to everyone as follows - you can marry anyone at any time as long as the following applies:
1. Both of you want to marry each other.
2. You are not direct blood relatives.
3. Both of you are of age or have your parents permission.
4. Neither of you is already married to someone else.
5. One of you is male and one is female.
Those rules apply equally to everyone. Their problem is that they want to do something else and then call it marriage. Sorry, guys. Merely wanting to do a thing does not make it ok and protected by law.
I got in a facebook spat with some sodomites when I supported Mozilla. They were calling me bad names, which I laughed about and the went away crying like little girls with their panties in a wad because I had hurt their feelings.
Homosexuals have gotten very high up in the hierarchy of officially recognized grievance groups. As we know, crossing these grievance groups in today’s politically correct world can cost you dearly.
The liberals seek not just to overcome and defeat opponents, they also want to destroy these opponents.
I often wonder how homosexuals got to the top of the grievance pyramid. It was less than 20 years ago that Congress passed the Defense of Marriage Act with strong liberal support at the time. I often wonder when exactly liberals went from agreeing that marriage was a man and a woman, to now deciding that any opposed to homosexual marriage are such dangerous enemies that they must be destroyed.
Why is homosexuality so damned special? We can have debates about just about any other public policy question, but on this one, in a few short years,the liberals have now decided all opposed must be targeted for destruction.

I used to post a lot on the “it gets better” youtube videos. Holy cow those people got frustrated. On this issue I’m a bit like the person that goes the speed limit in the passing lane, and they are the guy that wants to get past. My completely reasonable actions cause many of them to go absolutely berzerk as I stay calm the whole time, explaining over and over that the facts are wholly on my side - and then use the broken record technique.
It’s not fun, really, but it exposes them to the lurkers.
The minute homosexuals managed to convince the world that homosexuality is a genetic thing, like being black, or being a Jew, homosexuality became a civil rights problem. Anyone opposing the radical homosexual agenda is no different than a racist, sexist, or white supremacist. People who don’t like homosexuality are sexual supremacists.
It’s a scam, like everything else from the left. Homosexuality is primarily a pedophilia thing, not a genetic thing, and acceptance of homosexual perversion is an encouragement to every perversion and debasement that can happen to our society.
