You might find Rood's Prophecies in the Spring Feasts interesting.

"You might find Rood's Prophecies in the Spring Feasts interesting."

Or I might not. Rood is well known as a snake oil salesman, a false prophet, and a cult leader. He's a con man who has claimed at various times to have been born and raised in several different areas of Michigan, but public records have turned up no such individual in any of those places.

Rood was a leader in The Way, International. That particular cult denies the deity of Jesus, the deity of the Holy Spirit, and salvation by grace. It denies certain Biblical teachings and "improves" on them....for instance, teaching that Jesus was crucified with four people instead of two. This cult has a publication called "Jesus Is Not God."

This is the second cult posting I've seen pop up here on FR in as many days. It's quite sad. But what's even sadder is the fact that there will always be magnetic, malignant personalities who will claim to have secret knowledge of God and the Bible that no one else has, along with intricate, labyrynthine interpretations of the "truth". And there will always be deceived, weak-minded people who fall for what they're selling.
