certainly.

but you can at least with the waiver, not have to pay for a crap obamacare plan that has huge premiums, huge deductibles, for less coverage. You basically don’t have to not only lose your insurance but pay for other folks’ via massive premiums and less coverage.

My suggestion would be to get into one of the three obamacare-exempt Christian Health Sharing ministry plans and you will fare far, far better overall.

Get international insurance. That doesn’t help for right now emergencies but expensive stuff like non immediate bypasses and cancer operations and stuff you get offshore in the Caribbean where all the best unretired American doctors will be in a couple of years. Or just pay cash offshore. It will not be nearly so expensive as the cash price for the same ops in the USA, even including air fare. Some folks already go to Thailand or India where all the best English and Canadian doctors are. That is another problem with socializing medicine. The talent level goes to hell fairly quickly and doctors are replaced with nurses and attendants.
