While there are some people who are either delusional or just stupid who still think Obamacare is a good thing, it should be painfully obvious to any thinking person that Obamacare and all its promises were outright lies. You can’t keep your plan or your doctor and you will not save $2,500 a year...these were all lies deliberately told by Obama and his minions. Unless the GOP screws up they should take Congress this fall, however, we will not be rid of the Obamacare albatross until it’s creator is out of the White House either by being voted out or impeached.

When Obamacare collapses watch the Republicans replace it with “something better” i.e single-payer on the idea that well the market system is already destroyed we have to make the best of a bad situation. Of course medicine in the USA will decline then even more precipitously.

The only cure is for the government to all at once get out of the medical field and the insurance field altogether. Things will go crazy for a few months or a year but then the system will stabilize and quality will course upwards at a steep angle as prices decline. This is government and politicians we are talking about, though. They can only meddle. They can only make things worse and they will.

If you haven’t paid, you aren’t covered.

And even if you have paid, you still might not be covered.

Get international insurance. That doesn’t help for right now emergencies but expensive stuff like non immediate bypasses and cancer operations and stuff you get offshore in the Caribbean where all the best unretired American doctors will be in a couple of years. Or just pay cash offshore. It will not be nearly so expensive as the cash price for the same ops in the USA, even including air fare. Some folks already go to Thailand or India where all the best English and Canadian doctors are. That is another problem with socializing medicine. The talent level goes to hell fairly quickly and doctors are replaced with nurses and attendants.

Don’t you also wonder whether “health care” (including insurance premiums) has now gone from something like 1/6 of the economy to 1/5 or 1/4? That the government now thoroughly controls, in addition to the taxes we pay...

Higher premium costs and less care for our $’s.

Top Cancer Centers Off-Limits Under Obamacare

Some of America’s best cancer hospitals are off-limits to many of the people now signing up for coverage under the nation’s new health care program.

Doctors and administrators say they’re concerned. So are some state insurance regulators. An Associated Press survey found examples coast to coast.

AP Excerpted. Go to the link to identify the top cancer treatment hospitals not covered.

Nothing that we know needs to happen will happen.

I’m thinking my father-in-law was right all those years ago when he said that man was put on earth to suffer.

The older I get the more I know, the more cynical I become, the worse I feel.
