Conservatives Need to Clean House
Rightwingpatriot.com ^ | March 13, 2014 | Rightwingerpatriot

We've all become accustomed to the lies told to us by politicians. They spout conservative rhetoric, swear on a stack of Bibles that they'll stand up for limited government and individual freedom, but will then turn a complete 180 once they get elected and they set foot in Washington D.C. as a new elected official. It's bad enough that we have serious enemies like the far-left that we need to contend with, but it's even more harmful to deal with establishment Republicans that consider conservatives the enemy except when they're pandering for votes. These establishment types have no interest for standing up for basic American principles. That's why conservatives need to clean house.

Establishment Republicans are a cancer that sickens the party as a whole. They have no desire to keep their campaign promises and actually represent the wishes of their constituents. They're just happy to have a seat at the political table, even if they're just the minority party. In fact, it's even better if they are the minority party because then nobody expects them to do anything. They can just rail against the president and his policies publicly but then support them privately. They'll be invited to all the cocktail parties and be considered part of the "in crowd." Well, it's time to kick these bums out.

We've had far too many RINOs that keep meaningful opposition to Obama's anti-American policies from taking root. From John Boehner to John McCain, our Congress is full of these beltway buffoons. We have the pro-amnesty types such as Paul Ryan and Renee Ellmers, whose support could further cripple the economy. We have the US Chamber of Commerce spending up to $50 million to fight against Tea Party candidates. Mitch McConnell told the New York Times recently that the GOP is going to crush Tea Party candidates in 2014. This is after the Tea Party and other conservative groups allowed Republicans to take back the House of Representatives in 2010.

What conservatives need to do is to eagerly promote viable non-establishment conservatives. We have to primary the RINOs and get them out of the way. However, the politicians that we promote have to have the ability to win an election. They just can't be someone that we feel good about even if we know that they have no possibility of winning. We cannot put idiots in play, such as Todd Akin, who made insanely stupid comments on rape. Every non-viable candidate is a boon for liberal Democrats. Conservatives need to make informed decisions on who to support. Always be skeptical if the media pushes a specific candidate as they have no desire to see true conservatives win elections. In the last few presidential cycles, we've had the media push Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney as the "conservative choice." How did that work out?

However, once these people are elected, our work isn't done. We have to hold their feet to the fire. If they do not toe the line on conservative issues, we need to kick them out of office. We've had a bevy of politicians who claimed Tea Party values in order to win but took a hard-left turn after the election. It'll be a hard, hard task as for every informed vote cast, there'll be at least one, if not more, votes cast by low information voters (morons) who make their decisions by what they see on tv or just by name recognition alone.

Conservatives cleaning house can be done. It won't be easy as establishment politicians have huge war chests and pubic visibility, but determination and full-blooded support can overcome these odds. Contrary to what the media and RINOs say, you can win by standing for conservative values as was recently proven where David Jolly beat Democrat Alex Sink in a special election in Florida. The numbers of Republicans and Democrats are very close and Sink outspent Jolly, but Jolly ended up winning by being firm in his positions of being against ObamaCare and amnesty.

There are too many people who claim to be “conservative” but are as Big Government as the worst liberal.

So true. Stay in DC long enough and conservatives typically go rino or worse.

How many candidates run as far leftists, go to DC and become moderates? None.

It would appear there is something in the nature of congress, of the nearby institutions that prod and push conservatives to turn leftward.

More national elections will not cure what past national elections have wrought.

AND he had the FULL support of the GOPe.

Driving RINOs out wouldn’t be neccessary if the RINOs would just realize they’d do better- as in the Jolly election- to work with us instead of against us!

I’m for supporting a third-party conservative candidate against RINOs in a few select ‘purple’ districts this fall.
Anything to get through to them.

The simplest fix of all: Vote Out ALL Incumbents, Democrat and Republican alike.

Spare NO ONE.

Too bad the simplest fix of all will NEVER happen.

Speaker John Boehner is shirking his Constitutional Duty by not issuing Articles of Impeachment for B. Hussein Obama.

Removal from Office by the US Senate can ONLY be accomplished AFTER a perp. is Impeached by the US House.

The House is the Police, and the Senate is the Judge and Jury.

First the House must Impeach the POS.

Then the Senate determines if the Impeached POS should be removed from office.

Most FReepers fall in the all or nothing camp and only want a clear path to removal.

Our Constitution makes it very clear: Impeach first by the House, and then have the Senate decide on Removal.

The objective is to punish all those who violate their sacred oaths to defend the US Constitution.

A bi-weekly Impeachment of B. Hussein Obama would be needed to punish him for all of his Constitutional violations over the last 5 years, but I will be satisfied with just one Impeachment.

Obama’s Removal from Office by the US Senate would be good for America, but Reid’s Senate has not yet demonstrated any interest in what is good for America.

Since the RINOs have control of the US House of Representatives in 2014, 2014 is the last year that we can be certain that Obama could be Impeached.

The RINOs assume that they will maintain control of the US House, but their usual desire to lose to Democrats is so strong, that their assumption may not be a valid one.

Impeach B. Hussein Soetoro-Obama in 2014, PERIOD.

Wisdom from the bar stool. Just when it looks like the GOP is ready to win the Senate and the House, lets vote all the GOP incumbents out of the House and hand Nancy Pelosi the gavel. Boy, that sounds real smart. Sometimes the simplest fix is for simpletons.

Sometimes the simplest fix is for simpletons.

Morons like you keep voting in the same corrupt trash, things will never change.

You're part of the problem.

"Lose the House" as if Ball-less Boehner isn't already doing Pelosi's bidding. If the spineless son of a bitch did his job, Impeachment proceedings would've been done, voted on, and passed already.

If Ball-less Boehner did his job, Obamacare would've been DE-FUNDED since all funding appropriations come from the House of Representatives.

I could go on, and on, and on about how Boehner and the RINO's in the House have sold this country out, but clearly those FACTS would be lost on a mindless moron like you.
