The Young Hitler I knew.
August Kubizek.
In the hard scrabble years for two unlikely youths in Vienna, Hitler confided in Kubizek. This was prior to WW1. He told his friend about his life as a boy. I understand he was so recalcitrant and questioning to the Catholic Priest locally, he was ordered to stay away from the church.
I saw souvenirs a plenty from WW1 in England. One was the WW1 German Army belt. "Gott Mitt Uns" was on the buckle.
There is only one "t" in "mit". You've got the 2012 failure on the brain.
