Has any African nation or nation populated primarily by Africans ever succeeded without the government being dominated by other ethnic groups?
Does Haiti count?. Once considered the “Paris of the Caribbean” it actually had a higher GDP than America. Of course the French gave complete control to the “black population” over two hundred years ago.
It has been ruled by blacks ever since.
Today it’s a world class cesspool on every level. The World Bank notes that more than half of Haiti’s population lives on less than $1 a day, while about 80% of the country lives on less than $2 a day. The country’s estimated unemployment rate as of 2010 was 40.6%.
It is the poorest country in the world.
