Public Schools Are Preparing America’s Children For Life In A Police State
Activist Post Blog ^ | 2-18-2014 | Michael Snyder

Our children are the future of America, and our public schools are systematically training them to become accustomed to living in a “Big Brother” police state. All across the United States today, public schools have essentially become “prison grids” that are run by control freaks that are absolutely obsessed with micromanaging the lives of their students down to the smallest detail.

As you will read about below, students all over the country are now being monitored by RFID microchips, their lunches are being inspected on a daily basis by school administrators, and the social media accounts of students are being constantly monitored even when they are at home. Of course these sorts of things do not happen everywhere just yet, but on the path that we are on it is just a matter of time.

At this point, many of our public schools very closely resemble “totalitarian dictatorships”, and so if the United States ever slips into totalitarianism the students of today will actually feel very comfortable under that political system.....

Is anyone surprised?

The teachers’ union has been hand in glove with the Left for years.

Saw this happening years ago with the D.A.R.E program. Rat your parents out for using drugs. Become a ‘’child hero!’’.

Thank the drug war for zero-tolerance and DARE. And ‘thank’ you too, Bill Bennett, for paving the way.

I took my son to school in the fall, and I was horrified at the appearance of a new security fence around the place. It quite literally looked like a prison. I think my reaction to it surprised some people. I was angry, too, because my take on it, among others, is that they are teaching our children to be afraid. I took to referring to the principal as “The Warden” and the teachers as “The Bulls” (jokingly, of course. They seem to be very nice people and so far as I can tell doing a good job - I grill my kid and inspect what he brings home and his homework, etc). It was just quite dismaying to see a school look like that. Not the America I grew up in or want for our kids...

I’m pretty sure I was one of the last Generation that actually had a Real History class. We were taught The Revolutionary War, The U.S. Constitution, Civil War, WWI & II were a part of History, not how “Whitey” screwed everybody.

I stopped asking Kids (Jr High/High School & College) years ago “What do you learn in History Class?”

I was getting answers like how We started the War with Japan by dropping Nukes on them...

None could even tell Me any of the Amendments to the U.S. Constitution much less what it meant.

And was informed it’s NOT History, it’s “Social Studies”

All one has to do is watch American Idol or Access Hollywood and how they gush or imply how great it is to be “diverse” and have sex with your own kind. Sick people.

Yeah, Bill "Book of Virtues" Bennett. Where "honor thy mother and father" means being a good little Hitler Jungend and reporting them to the police. Oh, and there was his little gambling habit that cost him a few miliion. How that fat clown still has a radio show is beyond me.

Churches, stand up and take your children back. Provide them with a Christian education.

I had mostly black history teachers in NC growing up. My history education always stopped with slavery. Months and months of being taught nothing but slavery.

Anonymous online posts are, of course, anecdotal evidence but I see a disturbing trend in comments on news stories about local or state issues. A typical post might be:

‘Will you people stop bleating about your rights! Meth abuse/drunk driving/speeding/etc. is a serious problem!’

Apparently no irony is intended in these posts but they seem to come from a segment of society that this article and your posts identify: a generation raised not only in a government-is-good hothouse, but one that is actively opposed to, and even angered by, the mere citation of Constitutional rights, to say nothing of asserting them.

Again, anecdotal evidence is just that and YouTube usually features the lowest of the low in commentary but the growing number of video clips featuring citizens flummoxing the police by refusing to do the hokey-pokey at checkpoints is also a good place to witness the lemmings of the state baring their tiny fangs. ‘You egomaniac! Shut up about the 4th Amendment!’ ‘Why don’t you just comply and get on with life!’ etc.

“...new security fence around the place...”

Was the razor wire section on top, facing inward or outward?

Well that sounds like a boat load-o-fun!

I’m pretty sure she never admitted the the Blacks in Africa sold out their own...

I don’t care if somebody is Black/White/Red/Brown/Yellow/Green or from another Planet, either one is a decent person or they aren’t.

I went to a School in VA when I was in like 4th Grade for a Semester while My Parents went on vacation. My Sister taught there. A small building, Auditorium in the center and Classrooms around the perimeter, Grades K-12.

She and I were the only White people.

There was no Racist crap ever. Everybody ate lunch in the Classrooms. If there was a show or whatever in the Auditorium EVERYBODY went.

This is sort of undermined by student’s participation in high school sports. Depending on the humanity present in the coach(es) it is very difficult to monitor the feelings of the kids on the field. Coaches that I’ve known even manage to instill Christian attitudes on their players.

It’s small, but it matters.
