Ben Shapiro, the editor-at-large of Breitbart News, is parting ways with the company. He continues to be editor of the media watchdog group, TruthRevolt, the right-wing answer to the liberal Media Matters. TruthRevolt has no financial tie to Breitbart News and is a non-profit owned by David Horowitz. Shapiro began working for Breitbart News in February, 2012, just two weeks before Andrew Breitbart died. Shapiro was a longtime friend to Breitbart.
The Los Angeles-based Shapiro, who also hosts a radio show on KTTH out of Seattle and is an attorney, declined to comment on the matter. In fact, when I wrote him, he formally declined and ccd his lawyer. So far, his Twitter bio has not changed and still contains his position at Breitbart News.
The Mirror sought comment from Breitbart News. None was forthcoming by press time.
Shapiro is great...
Exactly. He’s just going 100% to TruthRevolt
What are their readership numbers like? I've never heard of it. The only time I see anything from Ben Shapiro these days is when he has a column on Townhall.com.
I guess something's paying his bills, though. Best wishes. Such a smart young man. I was hoping he would marry my daughter, back before he married someone else, but I suppose she was too independent and bad tempered and Catholic for him.
TruthRevolt certainly has a MUCH cleaner looking website - Breitbart looks likes a typhoon organized its layout.
I don’t follow Shapiro. But can anybody tell me why I should follow anybody, including “conservatives,” who attended Harvard Law School?

Woo hoo!! And the first 46% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
You should “follow” a commentator if he provides information or analysis that you find interesting or useful. This is true regardless of where he went to school.
Shapiro is the morning host for Salem radio.
It’s called Morning Answer.
Maybe Shapiro’s focus is shifting to a radio career. I hope there’s no shift at Breitbart.
I think that I had concluded awhile back that Shapiro is either clueless about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, or he's just another "conservative" commentator like those on Fx News who are mainly concerned about advertising revenue imo.
I disagree. Heard him many times - he’s an amazing speaker and quick witted intellectual.
Truth Revolt is a lot like Numbers USA, where they have an Action page & they notify you when you can lambast lefties & their enablers for their stupidity. Well-worth signing up for.
I’ve yet to hear him spout Marxism or Communism or talk like an elitist -—hole. ‘Course, that doesn’t mean you need to follow him or anyone else.
Can you provide a link where he acknowledged Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers like Judge Andrew Napolitano did?
Judge Napolitano & the Constitution
What a stupid headline...makes it sounds like he’s been axed.
Beware that "conservative" Fx News, for example, wraps itself in a flag, but almost never mentions the federal government's constitutonally limited powers.
First Dana Loesch and now Ben. Sadly, there seems to be a lot of friction in the house that Andrew built. It puzzles me as to why.
