Exactly, it doesn't even say that he called the police. It just says he ran away. That only saves one persons life, his own. Yea. That was pretty bad, made even worse by all the energy it took to find the actual source article.

There was a customer who (I deduce here) followed the crowd into the break room and shot the perp. One bullet for the kill shot. Must’ve been a good center mass strike. Or else a head shot. The story doesn’t say.
