Big time Hollywood producer, and big time Democrat donor, Harvey Weinstein is stepping up to the plate with “The Senator’s Wife”, reportedly starring Meryl Streep. The movie will, as Weinstein puts it, make the NRA “wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them.” The gist of the story, as near as I can tell, is that Harvey’s script will show that the boys and girls of the NRA were very naughty for not letting Barack Obama have his way with his gun law. Very naughty indeed.

With Meryl Streep in it I wouldn’t watch it if it were the biggest pro-gun movie ever made. (barf!)

I get the feeling this guy is silently begging another crazy person to shoot up a movie theater.

Maybe we find out Meryl Streep had a gun and didn’t shoot the dingo before it ate her baby.
I think the important thing is to tie this Harvey Weinstein gun control insanity around Hillary’s neck like a millstone.
Since Weinstein is a big time Democrat donor, and a major backer of Hillary in the past, this should be easy.
Hillary Clinton backs gun control would do wonders for her presidential ambitions.
There's about as much chance of that as there is of him getting rid of the millions he's made using guns in movies.

Weinstein will get his. Streep and her co-star will get theirs and everyone else who is connected will get a slice.
The rest will get screwed as is usual with Hollywood.
I missed that one. Haven’t seen it in the dollar bin at Walmart either, now that I think about it.
This may not sell to the public, but it will definitely sell to the Academy.
That’s what Harv is probably gunning for here: Lib hot button issue + Meryl Streep = little gold statue sitting on mantle.
I think the thing that amazes me is that people like him think that movies can influence our behavior.
As a weekly movie goer I can guarantee that they don’t.
