Call it “Kerryopia” - the short-sighted vision of Jean-Francois Kerre`, who, as we all know, served in Viet Nam.
Trying to concentrate all the efforts in the Middle East on “solving” the Israel-Palestine problem is to divert attention from the very REAL problems that exist elsewhere. So far as the “Palestinians” being permitted to form a self-governing national entity, nothing has ever prevented that from happening, except the very jingoistic and fiercely tribal nature of the various ragtag bunches of mutually hostile factions that make up the population of that territory. They are and always have been their own very worst enemies.
All the kindling is in place, for one of the biggest bonfires since the outbreak of the Great War, which we now know as World War I, which simply segued into World War II, because none of the underlying causes were ever addressed. There were only revolutions without resolutions.
