Government isn't all powerful. There are severe logistics problems for the US government dealing with a popular uprising.

They couldn't cope with Afghanistan, and that's a 3rd world craphole. America would be worse.

Not analogous at all. Here we have a dependency class who will be completely sold out to fedzilla, doing such things as reporting to the ‘authorities’ whom they know or suspect to have weapons and food aplenty. The government will have lots of help from the dependency class and may even be recruiting them to go into neighborhoods for door-to-door ‘checking’. Evil is rising with a mighty roar in America. Watch your six ...

Do you honestly want to live looking over your shoulder, wondering when the Predator is going to get you from a few thousand feet and a few miles away?

Do you want your home town to look like Kosovo?

Do you want to expose the members of your family to government intervention, harassment, and assassination?

How about your kids? Are you ready to have them Wacoed?

No, the government won’t actually use the same rules of engagement over here. Their weapons will have ammo. They will be listening to every call. They will have your electronic devices by the short ones.

It is my opinion, that anyone who thinks this is an easy win, isn’t playing with a full deck.

How does your family defend against a cruise missile from 1000 miles away? How does it defend from bombers dropping their loads on you from 30,000 feet?

You’ve got an old Ford F-150, and they’ve got the latest in tanks, troop carriers, and bunker busters.

You’re kidding yourself. That’s my take on it anyway.

Well, the feds had no problem stamping out the Waco and Ruby Ridge folks. A popular uprising in the US will only occur when lots and lots of folks start going hungry. And I don't see that happening any time soon.

Few people are going to going rush out and join a local militia unit over a phone tap or a tax increase. Heck, there's too much on cable TV for that to happen.

I agree.

In listening to Mark Levin on C-Span, he said something that will stay with me forever: (I paraphrase)-—If the administration doesn’t follow the Constitution, why the hell should any citizen follow any law this administration comes up with?

We NEED a popular uprising against this fraudulent gubmint.

In Afghanistan, the US govt was hamstrung by very restrictive self-imposed ROEs and the lack of a true desire to defeat the enemy.

That won't be the case here.
