Josh McDaniels. So let me get this straight. Browns management are so enchanted by the narrative that McDaniels who has a diminutive track record and proven
failure but as the argument goes “hes FROM THE STATE OF OHIO AND HES THE SON OF A LEGENDARY FOOTBALL COACH.
So if these people are so enchanted by that pitch, why would they not hire the guy who actually
-— IS -— a legendary coach from OHIO with a demonstrable track record of national championships everywhere he goes by the name of JIM TRESSEL and who would no doubt make himself available????
I have seen their enemy and it is success.
After pulling for this team since 1980 when I was the age of these charming girls, I am just about finally over this team and the perpetual buffoonery. If they fall for yet another impetuous, dim-witted sales pitch like the aforementioned McDaniels narrative, I’m done with them. They will in doing so prove that idiocy transcends even ownership.

The argument I'm hearing is that he's simply a coach with strong ties to Lombardi. I suppose with Lombardi, that's probably the most important asset.

I was the age of those charming girls as well and my dad took me to Red Right 88 where I froze my butt off (went to "the drive" and the Jets double overtime as well). My dad and I joke to this day that he probably should have gotten charged for taking me to that game.
After having season's tickets in the family since the late 50's (grandma had them and we inherited them), my dad has decided for the first time to give up the tickets. It's just no fun to go down there any more and he gets suckered out of over 1k per year plus the original cost of his PSL to see such chaos.
The only light I see is that a local reporter asked Haslam if he could assure the fans that the "Three Stooges" weren't running the franchise. With Haslam's ego, I'm hoping that might spur some positive change.

They bring in McDaniels. McDaniels brings in Tebow. Browns win the Suberbowl. It could happen.
