It seems like just about every Conservative who gets on the wrong side of the extremist Left ends up "walking back" their comments, falling to their knees, apologizing and nevertheless getting destroyed. Paula Dean comes to mind.
But I have faith that Phil will be the exception. He knows where his treasure is stored up, and I don't think the haters can touch him.
