No lip-syncing for Ray Price. He sounded as good at 86 as he sounded at 25. I bought the album “Last of the Breed” a couple of years ago. It is Ray Price, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson singing together and also singing each others songs. I love Merle, but Ray made the album. Buy it, you won’t be sorry.

Kris also wrote “Sunday Morning Coming Down”, “Loving her was easier than anything I’ll ever do again”, “Please don’t tell me how the story ends”, “Why Me Lord”, and co-wrote
“One day at a time, sweet Jesus”.
Kris also was such a good high school athlete that he was featured in "Faces in the Crowd" in Sports Illustrated. He was a Rhodes Scholar, joined the Army, rose to the rank of Captain, and completed Ranger School.
There's a lot more to the guy than simply sleeping with Janis Joplin!
Had to have been drunk when he slept with her.
Knowing that Janis played for the other team, ditto for her.
Janis was a switch-hitter.
