If ordinary insurance principles were applied, gay men would pay significantly higher premiums, to reflect risks inherent in their ‘lifestyle’.

I have heard, but don’t know, that O-Care will levy huge penalties on smokers and will not cover some things that are deemed related.

So will O’Care levy huge penalties on gays who got AIDS?

Absolutely! Male homosexuals have a significantly higher risk of just about any venereal disease known to mankind, when compared to heterosexual men when other demographic factors are similar. Some of these venereal diseases, especially AIDS and HIV, can be life threatening and can require expensive medical care for prolonged periods of time.

On an actuarial basis, male homosexuals should be charged much higher health insurance premiums than heterosexuals. But the Dummycrats who are pushing Obamacare, like Sebelius, think that these extra expected costs incurred directly because of the male homosexual lifestyle should be paid for not by the individuals who engage in the risky behavior, but by everyone else.

That's one of the many consequences of "mainstreaming" homosexuals and their behavior, which is one of perverse "principles" of the Left.
