If a man wishes to marry more than one wife he should be asked whether he is satisfied in his conscience that he may do so in accordance with the word of God. I have always wondered about this - yet the Church and Society thusfar specifically states otherwise - anyone have any scriptures that they say contradicts St. Thomas Aquinas’s post or alludes to their being a change from one dispensation to another?
