DC abruptly fired its insurance commissioner because he questioned Obama's announced "fix."

...What had White done? When President Obama announced his "administrative fix" for Obamacare causing millions of old policies to be cancelled, White had quickly pointed to a very skeptical statement about the fix issued by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and expressed agreement. He also joined a handful of other state insurance commissioners (nearly all of them liberal Democrats, by the way) in openly rejecting this ad hoc approach as unworkable...

I usually shy away from the “world is ending” type of rhetoric...but we are in deep trouble if Obama’s the-law-is-what-I-say-it-is way of governing continues...we are at step 8 of 10 in losing the republic for good...

I wonder if he gave them an unspoken pardon? Seems somewhat coincidental that a mere 12 hours after he gives a speech he manages to get all the insurance CEOs into DC for a private meeting. Wanna bet this was set up last weekend?

The problem of the website is a rope a dope smoke screen. Everyone is focusing on that while we are getting screwed elsewhere in the actual law. Furthermore, the divide and conquor approach is upon us. For the next year, those on company plans are exempt while he beats the individual holders into submission. After taking care of that, he will move on as part of the opposition will be muted.
