Anybody out there own a GoPro Camera? I'm really stoked by it ever since watching the 60 Minutes report on it on Sunday. I have some great ideas on how to use it underwater in the ocean and in the canals here. Also up in the trees. My big concern is to make sure it has adequate flotation since I want it to rise to the surface not sink in case of an emergency.

Please post your GoPro observations. I think I'll get one for FREE via coupons just like I got this laptop.

The reason why I am so excited about the GoPro camera you will understand when you check out this GoPro VIDEO. Many of you will think it is really CGI animation of the dolphins but it's not. The camera has such unbelievable clarity that this is the real deal.

I hadn’t looked into the GoPro camera until you mentioned it, then I remember hearing about it. The “latest” is not necessarily the “greatest” from the reviews I’ve seen on Amazon. It doesn’t focus well at infinity, but is really good for work at less then four feet. The Surf (waterproof) edition looks like fun. “Outdoor” is also waterproof, “Surf” is better for depth.

Optics for all of them is glass, so that’s a plus.
