But the major reason these un-American concepts are being taught is because left-wing radicals are heavily involved in the Education Establishment – from the nation’s teacher colleges to its textbook companies.

Can't be overstated.

Have heard rumors that there are some people taking a look at the CORE program to determine who its silent partners are to see if they are overseas.

The wants of an individual are less important than the well-being of the nation

Hmmm... Let's just change one thing here... Since the ultimate minority is the individual, how would the leftist feel about publicizing this:

The wants of a minority are less important than the well-being of the majority

Interestingly enough, leftist regimes always morph into this method of repression.

I knew this would happen.

This is why I have been against a national curriculum with these bozos in charge.

Supposedly, it was going to emphasize math, science, and technology, to help us keep up with the rest of the world. What freakin liars they are.

About as subtle as Harry Reid, is the only good thing about it. It stinks of Chinese-style propaganda and will be obvious to all.

“Government school is child abuse.”

Hard to argue against that one.

‘...The indoctrination continues with sentence five: “The commands of government officials must be obeyed by all.”

That’s a chilling concept, one that any constitutional attorney would be quick to take issue with.’

Wasn’t Soetoro a constitutional law scholar? Somehow I doubt he’d have problems with that sentence.

I keep an eye out for this stuff and haven’t seen it with my son.

However, I have been incredibly bothered my his math superstars worksheets for 5th graders.

Math problems should have 1 answer. They send home worksheets that have word problems with hundreds of possible solutions.

Just last week, he had a problem with 4 variables and 2 equations. It was frustrating for him because it was impossible to pinpoint. We wrote a java program together to iterate over ever possible solution and it had hundreds of answers.

It is teaching them to guess an answer and adjust until they find a couple of numbers that work. It really annoys me

Local schools are not different if they use the same curriculum and laws that punish teachers for sharing lessons.

In Texas we have a “conservative” state board of education, the lefties created their own lessons and shared them through CSCOPE or whatever it was called, to get around the elected state board.
