Eve was deceived. Adam wasn't. He chose the babe over God.
World's worst trade.

"Mr. Obama clearly misspoke when he said that, the editorial read.
Misspeaking involves a slip of the tongue that happens once. It does not involve circumstances where a clearly false statement is repeated in dozens upon dozens of speeches to convince voters to accept legislation they did not ask for, did not want, and still do not want.
The only possible explanations for what Obama said are:
1) Bald-faced lie.
2) Invincible ignorance in the face of thousands of proofs that he was wrong.
The NY Times and Obama's other apparatchiks can take their pick - either way, their guy is either a proven fool or a proven liar and either way, the rest of us must pay the cost. You'd think the NY Times would at least have enough shame left to apologize for their part in pushing Obama's Frankenstein assault on the Constitution, but lick-spittles don't get to be lick-spittles by having any shame.

"Still unbelievable that they think we are that stupid."
And why shouldn't they?

That depiction is actually incorrect. Adam was NOT present when the serpent spoke to Eve. You might want to reconsider...
Genesis 3
1 Now the snake was the most clever of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day the snake said to the woman, Did God really say that you must not eat fruit from any tree in the garden?
2 The woman answered the snake, We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden.
3 But God told us, You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden. You must not even touch it, or you will die.
4 But the snake said to the woman, You will not die.
5 God knows that if you eat the fruit from that tree, you will learn about good and evil and you will be like God!
6 The woman saw that the tree was beautiful, that its fruit was good to eat, and that it would make her wise. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of the fruit to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

Id be willing to stipulate that Obama misspoke if that meant we were going have our Senators vote again in light of the newly discovered truth about the ACA. I think that would be a good strategy. It may work - but if not, it would continually point out the lie and that it was bogus and lame to lie to get it through.

I know that God already knew what was going to happen,
but I wonder what kind of contingency plan He’d have had to do if Adam didn’t go along with Eve.

The paradox comes from our inability to understand God who is outside time.
He had no need for a contingency plan. Some people perceive Jesus’ sacrifice as a Plan B, but John tells us the Lamb was slain from the foundations of the world.

0bama clearly “misspoke”, and lied while doing so.

And YOU might want to reconsider.

The fact that when questioned by God, Eve blames the serpent for deceiving her, but Adam blames Eve (and God for giving him her) but not blaming the serpent - Adam wasn’t deceived by the serpent.
He was WITH HER in the garden, but not RIGHT THERE WITH HER. The actual Jewish Torah (1st 5 bible books) do not have the WITH HER phrase in them. Several bible translations do not, the later ones have added this in.
It’s like I am with my wife IN THE HOUSE but not RIGHT THERE with her, I’m upstairs, she’s in the kitchen, and she brings me something to eat.

This overblown controversy has also obscured the crux of what health care reform is trying to do, which is to guarantee that everyone can buy insurance No guarantee though, for those who liked their insurance and got kicked out.
What a TOTAL bunch of tripe this is!!

"Misspoke"? Unless I'm mistaken, the verb "misspeak" means to utter a false statement
unintentionally. The fact that Obama said, "If you like your current health plan, you can keep it under Obamacare"
over and over again in plugging his pet program, is proof that the false statement was no slip of the tongue. Leave it to the cover-up artists at the New York Slimes and other leftist MSM outlets to lie in an awkward attempt to explain away a lie.
The New York Slimes and their less well-known MSM brethren have about as much credibility as "Pravda."
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Obama did not “mis spoke.” Obama looked the American people in the eye and lied. His speech was lie after lie after lie, and now he is lying about what he meant in the speech.
The president is a liar.

Liar is merely the most likely possibility. But there is also an outside chance that he’s just a dumbass.
