Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said that President Obama is frustrated by snags in the Obamacare rollout.
But how about American citizens who either are having trouble enrolling in Obamacare or are suffering from the shock of rising healthcare insurance premiums AND the size of their deductibles?
The anecdotal stories of sticker shock are legion (for example, here is a story from New Jersey). And physicians in New York are howling as well.
Of course, there are many winners in the Obamacare rollout. Some households will received added benefits. But the biggest winners are government cronies and contractors.
Here is a list of contractors that received over $1 million in Obamacare contracts.

The Urban Institute?
CGI, the contractor for the disastrous Obamacare website, was number two in contract size at $93.7 million. Despite the fact that a Canada province fired CGI after it missed three years of deadlines and failed to deliver the provinces flagship online medical registry.
Sunlight Foundation published a list of contractors and their lobbying efforts. contractors10-10-13.
Seriously, CGI was awarded $93.7 million to build the U.S. governments federally-facilitated health insurance exchange and all we got was a disaster?

Where?
INCONVENIENT FACTOID one story surfaced last week that the same crew that got the contract for the ObamaCare website were former data/media/social media people from the Obama campaign.
INCONVENIENT FACTOID Toni Townes-Whitley, Senior Vice President at CGI Federal for Civilian Agency programs, is Princeton Class of 1985---same dumbed-down class as Michelle Obama. Both are members of Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

A GLIMPSE OF WHAT'S TO COME A November 30, 2012 Cato.com report indicated the Insurance Exchanges will cost Twice What it Costs to Administer Medicare (NOT what the WH twit told Americans).
ONE STATE'S LAUNCH--- In March 2013 CATO.COM reported "The Cost to Launch the California Health Insurance Exchange is $910 million".
So far (2012) California has received $910 million in federal grants to launch its new health insurance exchange under the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare"). The California exchange, "Covered California," has so far awarded a $183 million contract to Accenture to build the website, enrollment, and eligibility system and another $174 million to operate the exchange for four years.
The state will also spend $250 million on a two-year marketing campaign. By comparison California Senator Barbara Boxer spent $28 million on her 2010 statewide reelection campaign while her challenger spent another $22 million.
The most recent installment of the $910 million in federal money was a $674 million grant. The exchange's executive director noted that was less than the $706 million he had asked for. "The feds reduced the 2014 potential payment for outreach and enrollment by about $30 million," he said. "But we think we have enough resources on hand to do the biggest outreach that I have ever seen."
For additional perspective....private insurance marketing site, Esurance sells not only health insurance but also things like homeowners and auto insurance across the country......author put his zip code into their system along with his age, they offered him 87 different health plans from all the big players in my area.
Now granted, the new health insurance exchanges are more complex because they have to interface with Medicaid and the IRS as well as calculate subsidies. But the order of magnitude difference in what it cost to launch esurance compared to the California exchange is pretty big.
Privately funded Esurance began its multi-product national web business in 1998 with an initial $5.5 million round of venture fund investment in 1999 and a second round of $34 million a few months later.
The start-up experience of other major web companies is also instructive. Facebook received $13.7 million to launch in 2005. eBay was founded in 1995 and received its first venture money in 1997$6.7 million.
Even doubling these private investments for inflation still leaves quite a gap.

Lew told “Meet the Press” that the program’s test would be in January, when the actual coverage starts for people who have enrolled by December 15.
“I think that if we get that right, everyone will regret that the early weeks were choppy on the website. But the test is: are people getting coverage and are they getting the care that they need. And we’re confident we’re going to be on track to do that,” the treasury secretary said.
He is only frustrated that he shanked his tee shot into the woods. Bohner is looking for it for him now.
Seriously?? Snags!? This piece of crap has more than "snags", it is unraveling before their eyes!!

Nancy Pelosi: Obamacare Rollout Glitches Unacceptable

ABC News
This morning on This Week, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the website glitches around the rollout of the presidents signature health care law were unacceptable.
As far as the Affordable Care Act, as I call it, the fact is, that yes what has happened is unacceptable in terms of the glitches, Pelosi told ABCs Martha Raddatz on This Week.
This has to be fixed, but what doesnt have to be fixed is the fact that tens of millions of more people will have access to affordable, quality health care. That no longer having a preexisting medical condition will bar you from getting affordable care, Pelosi added.
Raddatz also asked Pelosi about former Secretary of State Hillary Clintons political future, following her return to the campaign trail Saturday for friend Terry McAuliffes Virginia governors campaign.
Pelosi said she believes if Clinton does run for president in 2016, she would win and would be a great president.
Let me say, if Hillary Clinton does run, shell be one of the best prepared people and she will win, I believe, if she runs, Pelosi said. Shell be one of the best prepared people to enter the White House in a long time.
Whenever there’s a problem, all we get us a report on the state of Precious’s emotions. What difference does it make if he feels frustrated?
The Treasury secretary with existing Cayman Island accounts— oh yes— surely he is to be listened to.
The same Treasury secretary who by LAW (as in our Constitution) must FIRST pay our nation’s debt obligations— and yet says we “came close to default”— in his case an admission he came close to committing a treasonous act.
Country brings in plenty each month. Monthly credit card minimum for the US is all that is needed to meet the obligation. This is lying on a scale to the supposedly “informed” people who watch these shows. Piss poor propaganda, buddy— you are an abject liar.
Obamaumaucare-— the “Yugo” of healthcare, built by crony
venture socialists and their IT genius buddies for the highest bidding, and highest kickback of political donation.
Pure and simple.
Play the Paul Shanklin “In a Yugo” for background music.
WELL DONE!!!
A PERFECT analogy!!
(Take 4 pats on the back out of petty cash and the rest of the day off!)

You forgot one. The only sitting Secretary of Treasury to actively try to incite panic in the financial markets for political gain.
