It was in regards to the idea that this country was founded by Freemasons. The article only provides a partial quote, and then provides content that is out of context with her rant.
Sorry I did not do a little more research about her.
I did not connect her rant with something that happened in 1787.
Some members of the convention were Free Masons. Here is an estimate that suggests 13% of the signers were Free Masons.
