You’re confusing the EBT TANF benefit with the EBT SNAP benefit. Seems to be a lot of that disease going around FR.

Exactly. SNAP is just for food. The other is what used to be known as “welfare” and is now also done electronically in many places.

Both EBT benefits are used to buy alcohol etc all the time. If you think the program is pure and never abused you are naive.

You can easily buy EBT cards at a big discount almost anywhere. People sell them and then report them lost. I could probably buy at least 50 tomorrow if I wanted to.
