Finally, murder-homicide needs the traditional subdivision for premeditated murder, murder in the heat of anger, and manslaughter.
Only then, can the additional discriminators of CCW and LEO involvement really make hard and fast sense.

The data in this article is for unjustified homicide. Suicides are not considered. All the unjustified homicides are lumped in together.
It is very difficult to obtain the data that could do what you want. The UCR is not very helpful.
