Tea Party Republicans in the Senate are running out of options in their frantic effort to defund Obamacare, meaning the task will likely be handed back over to the House for a final showdown.
The campaign to bleed the Affordable Care Act dry, championed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), suffered a near fatal blow when Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, of Kentucky, announced that he would not support a filibuster to bottle up a House-passed continuing resolution that provides temporary funding for the federal government while simultaneously blocking the financing of the wide-ranging health care reform law.
Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, of Nevada, who controls the flow of legislation to the floor, appears to have the votes necessary to remove the language defunding Obamacare from the House-passed resolution. If he succeeds the measure goes to the House, setting the stage for a nasty conference committee negotiation. …

Shutting down Military pay is the goal of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.
Obama, Reid and Pelosi are using this battle over shutting down Obamacare to spin it into blame on the Surrender Republicans for shutting down “The Government,” starting with the US Military, as usual.
The litmus test for future membership in THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY is lack of fear of being blamed for trying to shutdown Obamacare.

Sorry, but the reality is that the party is far too compromised to ever reform itself. Too much money and influence from those interested in maintaining the status quo and increasing the size of government.
The Republican Party wants your money and your votes, but not your principles.
An entirely different party is needed that actually stands for something. The Republican Party is a lost cause.

Yes, and Sen. Cruz asks that we get three people to call our senators, after we call. It’s the LEAST we can do after his hard work!
already called TN’s 2 senators RINOS, and reminded lamar girl he was up for reelection, and if lamar voted yes we’d be voted for Joe Carr, have plans to do so any way if he does not RETIRE and go home and play with his grand kids, cause that is about all he is mentally capable of doing right.
