BREAKING!! GOP Stands with Tea Party Favorite Texas Senator Ted Cruz in Filibuster snip
newsninja ^ | September 24, 2013 | Wayne Dupree

In a stunning change of events, the Reince Preibus and the RNC has publicly backed Texas Senator Ted Cruz in his filibuster attempt to stop the funding of Obamacare, which is highly unfavorable among the American public. This is huge news to the Republican Party because most Americans have demonized the RNC for not accepting and embracing the Tea Party. Can you get any bigger than this?

Reince Priebus sent out this letter to internal employees of the RNC and here it is:

SUBJECT: I stand with Ted

[Friend],

In a fight between Harry Reid and Ted Cruz, I will stand with Ted Cruz any day.

Today, Senator Cruz has taken the fight to defund ObamaCare to the Senate floor. I hope you will join me in standing with him in solidarity.

As Republicans, we must remain true to our principles and fight to protect the American people from this reckless law.

55% of Americans disapprove of the manner in which ObamaCare is being implemented, yet Harry Reid and Senate Democrats continue to defend it, even at the expense of keeping the government running. (snip)

Too bad Mitch McConnell hasn’t got the balls to join Cruz.

Sounds good, but the RINOs have shown their true colors already. One can hope that this is not leading to Cruz being set up, at least down the road.

But, McConnell & Cornyn said they would support Closure!

GOPe cannot have it both ways.

I know the B_tards hear us, they simply choose to ignore us or try to play word games with us.

Eventually they will GET IT.

Now this internal piece of information doesn’t give total support to Cruz entire strategy, however it establishes a willing commitment to embrace Cruz’s attempt to protect the American people from ObamaCare. Senator Mitch McConnell and Senator John Cornyn have already stated that they were going to support the funding of ObamaCare so it seems the GOP could be fighting within itself on this one.

McConnell and Cornyn havn't gotten the Reince Priebus letter.

I agree it is breaking news. He posted it on Facebook earlier this afternoon, and I couldn’t believe what I was reading. He had better get his RINOs in line, because that’s sure not the message the party elite has been speaking as of late.

"IT'S A TRAP !!!"

Color me VERY skeptical that a) this is true, and b) if true, that it's on the level.

I don't trust those SOBs. Not one bit.

BTW, “Rinse Pubis”....who were these “Repubs” that gave Chris Wallace the insider info on Cruz, eh? CYA, perhaps, because of polling?

The RNC has heard the people, keep calling your senators.

Ted Cruz asks that we even call Dem senators in the Red states.

the public polls already are.

Their internal polls must be off the charts, and the phones are ringing off the hook.

but...I keep in mind that he is trying to raise money. Once he gets it, will the RNC actually do what anything close to what they raised that money on?

Please don’t fall for this act by Reince Priebus. I knew him when he was the leader of the Wisconsin Republican Party. He used the Tea Parties to do literature drops, pass out brochures, work at phone banks etc ad then turned on them once they got his people elected.

He is doing the same thing now. He knows this probably will not be stopped anyway, so is pretending to back Cruz to get disenchanted votes back to the Republican party.
