Did you know that pertussis, commonly called whooping cough, is highly contagious and is transmitted through the air in the coughs and sneezes by the person who is infected with the disease? That touching a wet surfaces where an infected person has coughed or sneezed on and then touching ones own eyes or nose can also be a way of catching the disease?

With all the un vaccinated invaders I expect the disease count to be going up.

No doubt driven by the stupid new-age belief that vaccinations are somehow worse than the disease they’re trying to protect from.

Invite the unvaccinated third world to your country and suffer the consequences.

That sounds almost as dangerous to humans as clicking on an Examiner blog is to computers.

Tuberculosis and Whooping Cough was all but wiped out 30-40 years ago...Now, due to our open borders, they are making a comeback...Will Polio and The Plague be far behind????

The plague is common in the southwest, but it’s been around a lot longer than the illegals problem (unless the ground squirrels and prairie dogs are undocumented).

Why haven’t we heard of this for the last 200 years???

Most non-infants who get whooping cough HAVE been vaccinated. It is not the most effective vaccine. Wisconsin was (is?) the state with the highest % of cases, and outside of Milwaukee, it is not exactly a third world haven.

Nah, we get a few cases a year here in NM, occasionally fatal. For it to get out of hand the rodent population in cities would really have to explode. It’s not transmissible person to person.

Four years ago with the swine flu epidemic, I really thought that US authorities would do everything they could to keep out people (like Mexican invaders) who would bring the disease with them. Instead, they did a hurry-up vaccine for the US population and set up quarantine wards in highly affected areas. If you went to the hospital and they thought your symptoms might be swine flu, they could put you in quarantine against your will and getting out was up to the hospital (happened to me).
That's when it became obvious that the ptb in the US would rather have us die from a foreign disease than to keep invaders out of the US. One thing we can be pretty sure of...if a horrible disease starts in Mexico, they'd let us share rather than cut off cheap labor.

Don’t forget the bed bug epidemic. Bud bugs were eradicated in the U.S. in the early twentieth century and no they are back and out of control. Uncontrolled borders have consequences.
