Will someone please take that political shovel from Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott so he can stop digging? Hes getting deeper and deeper into a hole by offending people he doesnt have to in order to secure his position with the right-wing Republican base, a group he needs to win any primary election. But what Im afraid he doesnt realize is that his latest statements and actions may be energizing people in the state beyond that base, especially Democrats who have been waiting a long time for something to rejoice about in statewide elections. When was the last time you heard Texans singing Happy Days Are Here Again? Well, some are ready to strike up the band and start belting that tune, particularly if state Sen. Wendy Davis, D-Fort Worth, announces she will run for governor against the attorney general. It was bad enough that Abbott, after the Supreme Court struck down a section of the Voting Rights Act, quickly announced that the Texas voter ID law was back in effect, and then attacked the president and the U.S. attorney general when they vowed to seek a remedy through the courts. Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Fort Worth, sued the state to block implementation of the voter ID law, and on Tuesday Dallas County Commissioners voted to join that suit to protect citizens in that county where more than 200,000 voters dont have the identification required by the state law. Abbott made another decision recently that surprised practically everyone in Texas when he joined with the federal government and five other states in opposing the merger of US Airways and Fort Worth-based American Airlines.

BTW, had a dollop of peanut butter on a hamburger dill slice, didn’t thrill me but surprisingly it wasn’t too bad. Reminded me a bit of a Payday. We don’t usually keep loaf bread so I haven’t tried it as a sammich yet.
Just to lighten up things a bit....a bus waaaaaaaaay up on the mountains of Colombia.

Haven’t read the comments, yet, but the FW Starlegram and Dallas Morn. News are both liberal rags. “Windy” Davis is from Fort Worth, so represents the libs there.
“Windy” doesn’t have any credentials to challenge Abbott.
Every time you make another accusation that is a lie about Abbott, I will be here right on your butt.

KUDOS!!!!!!!
I am sure they are nothing like Texas, what is to prevent Government Tyranny?
Something like Tinamaan Square.
Wendy Davis couldn’t win a pole dancing contest in a retirement home.
....and, Good Morning!!
Good Morning Dearest Jane! I hope you are doing well! :)
Texas and China do have similar open and carry gun laws. Just ask the Texans who got arrested in Austin for displaying their black powdered pistols. There are a few gun ranges in the Beijing area too.
To Protect against Tyranny.
You’re right. America’s “well-regulated militia” had helped Dictator Obama steal the election in 2012 and may likely work on behalf of Hildabeast to make her President for 8 years starting in 2017.

KUDOS!!! Comments Time!
It is what prevents people who Rule China take over here.
I don't want to be ruled a Politburo of Oligarchs, again like China, unless you get in with one of the elites.
Don’t forget to KUDOS comment on this article too:

You have every right to prefer to be ruled by a Marxist president such as Obama. And if not, you can take full advantage of your US Passport and move elsewhere. That’s what I did.
Really? You’re now reduced to quoting Wayne Slater? He’s a repulsive commie and a frequent guest on Madcow’s “program”, echoing her/his/its opinions right down the communist party line.
I can still say here in America here on free republic that Obama needs to be run out on a rail
can you do the same in China about the Chinese rulers? My guess is not because China doesn't have a second amendment.
Resignation? I seem to have missed that.
Did you perhaps mean when he announced he would not seek re-election?
The two are not the same.
