Few things will thrill the people of HI more than “gay marriage”. I’m surprised they haven’t had this for decades now.
It's the legislature that is now causing this trouble. Despite being avidly socialist in fiscal issues, the people of HI are fairly conservative socially.
It will be interesting to see exactly how the legislature tries to enact this. They don't have the votes currently.
