CBS Houston has an article whining about how much Abbot is costing, suing their messiah. That's where I got the stats.

Thanks, Windflier...any positive ground is erased with the attacks.

TG, you apologized for your distasteful comment, only to replace it with another slam.

Stop! Enough, already! We get that you don't care for AG Abbott.

One: I like Tex Grill. He is an interesting guy.

Two: I also like (and have met) Greg Abbott — and, as of this writing, fully intend to vote for him.

Three: Why are we being so thin-skinned about Tex Grill’s “slams” against Abbott.

Where is the FReeper code book that says: “Okay to call Obama virtually every name in the book,” but thou shalt treat Greg Abbott with kid gloves?

Frankly, Greg Abbott is a big boy, and I believe he can handle the rough-and-tumble of the political fray!

Just my two bits.

I don’t think it is a matter of being thin skinned.

When TexGrill first started posting he identified as not being in Texas..or the US for that matter. He said he is in China. What possible interest could a poster from China have in who is the governor of Texas?

TG posts lots of interesting articles about Asia. I can see interest in the federal level of politics in the US. But the Texas Governor?

Thanks. That was a lot nicer than what I was thinking.
Hope it doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

Why are we being so thin-skinned about Tex Grill’s “slams” against Abbott.

Greg Abbott has an admirable record as Texas AG. He's well liked among Texas conservatives and others who've followed him through the years.

Before Ted Cruz arrived on the scene, Abbott was one of the few Texans in government service who we could brag on without hesitation or back off. The man has fought hard for Texans against the federal leviathan, and we're extremely grateful for that.

Given all that, it should come as no surprise when we react badly to some newbie coming in here and trashing the man. And I mean in the same derogatory, disrespectful way that you'd expect of a hit-and-run liberal.

I don't think we're being thin skinned at all about this.

Did you know that Texas AG Greg Abbott and Gov. Chris Christie shared a birthday cake at the Dallas Cowboys game?

Very good! I agree with all you said in your posting, and that includes the interesting items posted about Asia doings from TexGrill.

Abbott is the real deal, insofar, for protecting the 10th amendment and having Conservative values. Pauken is basically a RINO who bends with the wind; IOW... loser.

No one shows up here out of the blue, spewing so much garbage at a much admired Republican candidate, unless they've got a hidden agenda.

Since you've been here, I haven't seen you once say a single positive thing about Pauken. You come on here and post slanderous articles about Abbott, and throw ad hominem bombs at him, but little else.

I've tried to tell you that we Freepers have seen your act time and time again, but you're not listening. So be it. You may as well give your employers their money's worth until you're banned.

“”I guess I know where he stands on states rights.””

This is where Abbot has been in the news and I here the most about him.

Now I want to here about how with these is he going to make Texas continue to grow, oil fields prosper, 2nd Amendment strengthened in the State and land owners rights not be infringed upon by super highways.

Just these lil things

To me that sounds like he is doing the job he was elected to do for the Citizens of Texas.

Oops, I forgot to ask you that question. What did you eat for breakfast? Just kidding. I just checked and for the first time here in China, I can open the Tom Pauken for governor Website. I can send you a link. Charm was never my expertise, I’m better in attack mode. So you can view the merits of Tom Pauken yourself:
