Yes, they are prohibitive. And lots of folks want that to change. If you are in Texas, vote against Dewhurst in the primary, if you want to make a difference.

I want constitutional carry in Texas. Having spent time in AZ and NM, Texas firearms laws, many left over from reconstruction, suck.
