Amazing eyes....they pop. Isn’t blue eyes/red hair very rare?
not so rare really. both traits are recessive meaning that both parents had to have the genes. statistically a 1 in four chance of red hair/ blue eyes at a minimum from the parents for each trait. IIRC 1 in 16 to get both together.

The combination is not really rare among the Irish, in my experience.

Both my wife and daughter have red hair, about the same shade as Miss Ireland, and blue eyes. Needless to say, but my son and I don’t really stand much chance against the ladies of the house.
