The Royal Family and the government are congentially against the Muslim Brotherhood -- which is a palpable threat to the regime.
Recall that the Saudis (i.e., the government) has taken our place as the primary financier of the Egyptian (military) government. Obama, on the other hand, has definitely favored Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Nonetheless, a number of wealthy Saudi sheikhs and chieftains are big sponsors of the Muslim Brotherhood (and al-Qaeda). This group probably also sponsored Zero's tour of Harvard...and has gained his loyalty, body and soul.
